Do you have TPS and need to renew your driver's license?
FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS STEP BY STEP:
Find out if you need an appointment to renew your license at the Department of Motor Vehicles, also known as “DMV.”
FOR YOUR VISIT TO THE DMV YOU MUST BRING THE FOLLOWING:
Employment identification / license / authorization card (the work permit)
Proof of address.
Notification I-797 (a letter that people with TPS receive in the mail in 2018 stating that they have been granted TPS status)
Federal Register Notice.
If you encounter issues with renewing your Driver’s License or if your employer is asking you to bring a new work permit, call us as soon as possible to document what is happening.
