David Maldonado

David Maldonado was born in Fort Worth, Texas, to Chilean immigrants. He moved to the Twin Cities with his family at a very young age, and is proud to call St. Paul home. David attended the University of Minnesota, where he graduated with a degree in Linguistics. Since then, he has focused on developing a varied skillset through his time in workforce development, translation/interpretation, education, community outreach, communications, nonprofit fund development, and project management. As COPAL’s grants specialist, David is eager to help build COPAL’s organizational capacity to further its mission of building grassroots communal democracy.
