Itzayan Rocha-Coronado

Itzayan was born in Minneapolis in 1999. Born to Mexican parents seeking a better future, she has fought to create that future. She began working with COPAL at the beginning of the pandemic in June 2020 while she was finishing university. She graduated from St. Scholastica in May 2021 and has continued with her community work on the COPAL team. She hopes to create positive change for the immigrant community in Minnesota and wishes one day to give her parents the future for which they came to this country.
