Vanessa Ramírez Gavilán

Born in Minnesota to immigrant parents, Vanessa graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College in May 2021 with a double major in Latin American Studies, Latinx Studies, and Caribbean Studies (LALACS). She was also interested in peace studies and women, gender, and sexuality studies. Her goal is to be able to give back to the community, particularly the Latino community. COPAL is a place where she can expand her knowledge of the needs of the immigrant community.
