COPAL’s Member Committees offer a space for leadership, collaboration, and action. Through these committees, members come together to build collective power and drive systemic change. Each committee provides an opportunity to engage in organized efforts that reflect shared values and a commitment to justice and equity in our communities.
Twin Cities Regional Committee
The Twin Cities Committee is a space for community members to come together, develop skills, and take collective action based on the needs of their neighborhoods. Members organize around key issues like housing, transit, education, and community safety—ensuring Latine voices are heard and valued in local decision-making.
Southeast Regional Committee
The Southeast Regional Committee empowers the Latine community in Rochester to lead social impact initiatives that improve the quality of life for their families and neighbors. Through leadership development, education, civic engagement, and collective action, members work to uplift the voice of the Latine community across southeastern Minnesota.

Members lead civic engagement and community advocacy across south central Minnesota, working for education, economic, and immigrant justice. The committee unites local efforts to bring systemic change from the ground up.
Environmental Justice Committee
Members fight for clean air, water, and environmental protections in Latine communities through education, advocacy, and grassroots action. The committee works for environmental justice and protect the health of future generations.
Healthcare for All Committee
This committee organizes for accessible, affordable healthcare for everyone, pushing for policies that meet community health needs. Members believe healthcare is a human right, not a privilege.
Youth Committee
The COPAL Youth Committee is a cultural community group dedicated to developing leaders through youth advocacy and professional growth. We believe every Latine youth voice deserves to be heard and uplifted, providing the guidance and resources needed to become tomorrow’s leaders.
