Mike C.

Radio Coordinator

Mike was born in Villahermosa, Tabasco, Mexico to a broadcaster and a musician. This marked the beginning of his profound connection to music.

Living through pivotal shifts in music, radio, and television history, Mike witnessed the industry’s transformation from vinyl to CDs and the integration of groundbreaking technology. His experience encompasses the manual era, navigating studio controls, and embracing computing as an essential tool driving the industry’s economic growth.

His career trajectory saw him directing a station to chart-topping success at Grupo Radio Centro. Starting from the ground up, Mike’s passion for broadcasting flourished, and he later shaped formats and programs across Mexico at Radiorama. Transitioning to television at Televisa, he contributed to Hispanic programming broadcast in the United States.

His journey led him to the United States in 2003, initially residing in Alabama before finding a home in Minnesota where he rediscovered his fervor for community service. Embracing this renewed passion, he returned to his roots, infusing Latino radio with his unwavering dedication. Mike is committed to bringing this decades long experience to service the community through the airwaves he passionately cherishes.
