Equitable Grid Principles – Guidance for Electric Grid Infrastructure Decisionmakers and Stakeholders in the MISO Region

COPAL, alongside the Union of Concerned Scientists and other environmental organizations proposes a set of principles for decision-makers as the United States adapts its infrastructure and integrates more renewable energy sources like wind and solar. These principles aim to better meet electricity needs and protect the well-being of our communities equitably so as to not place additional burdens on already burdened communities.
