Members are the individuals who align with the mission and vision of COPAL and follow the Jémez Principles. Members commit themselves to take action to lead and mobilize the community, with the goal of achieving social change.

There are two ways to become a member:

  1. Donate $5/month (or $60/year)

  2. Volunteer at least 10 hours per year

Upon completing member onboarding, you will gain:

  • Participation in organizational decision-making*
  • Access to COPAL Member Committees and connections with Member-Leaders
  • Access to free, Member-only classes such as citizenship, computer, software, GED, and others
  • Priority for events, trainings, workshops, and more
  • Invitations to candidate endorsement processes*
  • Invitations to leadership opportunities, including out-of-state delegations
  • A COPAL t-shirt and Member I.D. card
