Rochester, MN – As the nation celebrates love and unity this Valentine’s Day, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has launched targeted enforcement operations in Rochester, MN. In the last 24 hours, local advocates and community members have confirmed ICE activity, including the detention of individuals and the presence of agents in specific locations. We have photos and videos documenting their movements and are actively supporting impacted families.
COPAL and Rochester-based organizations are mobilizing an immediate community response. United in solidarity, we stand firm in protecting our neighbors, regardless of their immigration status. We are taking peaceful, organized action to ensure the safety and dignity of all Rochester residents.
We invite the press and the public to a peaceful demonstration to stand in solidarity against these actions:

We will gather in proximity to where ICE has been spotted, sending a clear message: We see you. We know what you’re doing. You are not welcome here.
