The YouthProgram is an integral part of COPAL’s Workers’ Center, focusing on three areas for youth ages 16 to 24:
Economic Justice: The Workers’ Center offers comprehensive financial counseling and education, guiding young individuals in accessing scholarships and building a solid foundation of economic justice.
Career Exploration and Job Search: The program provides invaluable career guidance and skill development opportunities, preparing them for a successful transition into the workforce.
Education: Minnesota’s youngest leaders are offered essential support in obtaining a GED, accessing vocational training, and pursuing higher education, ensuring that these young individuals are well-prepared for a prosperous future.
Committee members build power to transform systems through organized leadership, including participation in committees like the Youth Committee, which meets every other Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
