Community Demands Justice After ICE Actions in St. Louis Park

What: Protest ICE enforcement actions
When: Wednesday, March 5, 2026, at 6:00 PM
Where: W Lake St & Taft Ave S, St. Louis Park, MN
Who: Witnesses will be present at the protest and available for media interviews.

In response to recent ICE activity in St. Louis Park, COPAL and the Immigrant Defense Network (IDN) are mobilizing community members, immigrant rights advocates, and local leaders to protest the escalating attacks on immigrant workers and their families.

Last week, at least seven individuals were detained in an ICE enforcement action under unclear circumstances, raising urgent concerns about due process violations, workplace protections, and the unchecked power of immigrant enforcement.

The fear and uncertainty sown by these actions go far beyond those detained; workers now face the impossible choice between earning a living and risking arrest. The community refuses to stay silent as immigrant workers are targeted, detained, and torn from their families without transparency or accountability.
