COPAL Surpasses 100,000 Calls to Latino Voters in Minnesota, Raises Goal to 150,000 Calls Ahead of November 5 Elections

Minneapolis, MN | October 07, 2024 – COPAL, the Minnesota member-based organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of the Latine community through civic engagement and advocacy, is thrilled to announce that it has successfully reached its goal of making 100,000 phone calls to Latino voters across the state, well ahead of schedule. In response to this achievement, COPAL is now raising its goal to 150,000 calls before the November 5 elections.

This milestone is a key part of COPAL’s ongoing efforts to ensure eligible Latino voters are engaged, informed, and ready to participate in the upcoming elections. The outreach campaign, led by a dedicated team of staff and volunteers, has focused on providing essential information about voter registration, polling locations, and the importance of local races.

“Reaching 100,000 calls ahead of time demonstrates the commitment of our community and our team to increasing eligible Latino voter participation,” said Ryan Perez, COPAL’s Organizing Director. “By setting a new goal of 150,000 calls, we aim to further mobilize and empower eligible Latino voters to make their voices heard on November 5.”

COPAL’s expanded voter outreach campaign will continue through Election Day, incorporating additional tactics such as door-knocking, digital outreach, community events, and social media efforts to ensure maximum voter turnout among Latinos in Minnesota.
